I have a Octavia 2017, beautiful car. I am struggling to get my new phone to connect to Android Auto. I have just bought a Samsung A71 and the phone connection is not compatible with the USB connection. I have bought a cable that fits my phone and my USB in the car, but it still wont connect with the Android Auto system. Can anybody help me?

I have today taken delivery of my superb estate 4x4 elegance with the Columbus sat nav. The car was build week 29 and is the 2011 model year and the instruction manual indicates the availability of HFP and rSAP connectivity. Simply press and hold down the unlock button and all the windows will open simultaneously. You can stay a cool distance from the vehicle until all the heat has been released. And to close all the windows, just press and hold down the lock button. If you have a sunroof, that can be programmed to be part of the action too.Hello All, I'm looking at buying an Octavia Mk II and one of the cars I'm considering has the MDI connection to allow you to connect an iPhone. Because Apple have gone and changed the connection on the iPhone 5 I'm just wondering if anybody who has the MDI in their car has tried to connect an iPhHi, i have a 2011 Octavia Vrs DSG with Bluetooth, everything was fine until the other day when i had to disconnect my phone from the car, now it won't reconnect, infact the car won't connect to any phone! When i turn the ignition on the MFD says connecting to Hamish's iphone then says input code Plugging my Phone in, via a USB C cable and the USB MDI adaptor (proper Skoda one from the dealership), the MDI didn't recognise my phone was connected, and just showed AUX like it does when I plug into the 3.5mm socket : Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015) Pairing a Phone with the Superb Bluetooth. And before anyone says it, I haven't got a manual - I'm driving a demo car for 72hrs! I've got to the bit where the car asks you to put a code into your phone (2222 3333 4444 5555), te phone says it is now a remote SIM but then the car seems to ask for another code. .
